Thanks for your recommendations. I appreciate your insights. Would you consider linking to bookshop.org in lieu of or in addition to Amazon? Our independent bookstores play significant roles in our local communities and make our world a better place. I only buy from local bookstores.
I've discovered Anne Lamott recently as she has written some excellent books on writing so will keep an eye out for this one. As for books about tech/AI I tend to stay away as the content can't keep up with changes in the tech sphere and they usually become obsolete halfway through reading them. I used to write a weekly newsletter on technology and was amazed at how fast something that was the latest innovation one week became old by the next.
Great recommendations! Thank you. I'm reading 32 principles of jiu jitsu. I love in life when you do something day in and day out and it's not until you reflect on those things that you can derive life lessons from. I'm definitely getting that from this book.
I would like to read the Twentysomething Treatment. Though not in the twenties, rather crossed them decades ago, I think this still would be a good book. People often oversimplify the Twenties- but from personal experiences I consider it can be the most difficult phase of one's life. When in your twenties, you think that you know the world but actually you know nothing. A huge lot disappointments are in store for you.
There is another book by Mitch Albom - Tuesdays with Morrie. A really good book and a true story. It helped me a lot to overcome the trials of my 20s - in my 30s. lol !
But I would definitely like to read this one as well i.e. The Twenty Something Treatment.

These sound like some interesting books to expand one's knowledge of these subjects and become more well-rounded
